Our willow coffins are individually handcrafted in Ireland using carefully prepared natural willow.
Drawing on traditional basketmaking skills, each coffin is woven by hand to create a simple, beautiful and natural resting place. We make every coffin individually, taking care to produce a piece that is both practical and personal.
Our coffins are suitable for natural burial and cremation, subject to the requirements of the chosen burial ground or crematorium.

Willow is a renewable natural material that has been used for generations to make baskets and other functional objects.
We grow willow ourselves in Ireland and carefully harvest and prepare the rods before they are woven. This connection with the material — from growing and harvesting through to the finished coffin — is an important part of our work.

The final price depends on the size, style and any bespoke requirements.
Each coffin normally takes around four days to make. A 50% deposit is required before we begin making your coffin.

Choosing the right size
To help us make the appropriate coffin, we need the person's height and width.
Height: Measure from the top of the head to the bottom of the feet while lying flat or standing straight upright.
Width: Measure straight across the widest part of the body, usually across the shoulders or hips, depending on the person's build. Do not measure around the body.
If you are unsure how to take the measurements, please contact us and we can talk you through what we need.
For someone with a particularly large or unusual build, we recommend contacting us before ordering so that we can discuss the appropriate dimensions.

Families may wish to add flowers, photographs, fabric, ribbons or other meaningful details, subject to the requirements of the burial ground or crematorium.
