Weaving Songs with Tembre and Kate

A basket weaving and harmony singing weekend with Tembre & Kate.
A unique creative offering by two experienced facilitators in community singing & willow weaving. During the weekend Tembre will lead everyone in some simple harmony songs throughout the day & while we weave. Westcountry Willows will instruct you in willow basket weaving where you will make two baskets over the weekend to take home.

Event demonstrations
We enjoy demonstrating the ancient skill of basket making at various festivals, street fairs, reenactments and other events. We can also create baskets at the event and engage with the public, explaining the history and techniques of basketry. Demonstrating heritage crafts at events can help draw additional people who stay longer.
