Come and spend a day discovering the remarkable world of willow — a simple, beautiful plant that has been woven into human life for thousands of years. We'll follow willow from the ground up, exploring how it is grown, harvested, dried, sorted and prepared, and discovering the many different varieties and what makes each one special. Along the way, we'll explore the fascinating history of willow and the countless ways people have used it through the generations — from everyday baskets, hurdles and garden structures to furniture, sculptures and even coffins. You'll discover how a material that grows quietly beside our rivers and fields has played such an important part in our lives. There'll be plenty of time to look, touch, ask questions and chat about all things willow. This is an opportunity to share stories, knowledge and curiosity, whether you're already fascinated by willow or simply wondering what makes it so special. And, of course, you'll get to put your hands to the material yourself. With our guidance, you'll weave a willow bird feeder to take home — your own little piece of this ancient craft. Come curious. Discover the story. Feel the willow. Tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits included. No previous experience needed.

Cancellation Policy We understand that sometimes plans change. If you need to cancel your place, please let us know as soon as possible. More than 30 days before the event: A full refund will be provided. 30–14 days before the event: A 50% refund will be provided. Less than 14 days before the event: Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a refund. However, you are welcome to transfer your place to someone else. Please let us know their name in advance. If we need to cancel or postpone the event: In the unlikely event that we have to cancel or postpone the experience, you will receive a full refund or be offered the option to transfer your booking to an alternative date. Thank you for understanding. Places are limited, and advance bookings allow us to prepare the willow, materials and refreshments for everyone attending.
