Service Description
Weave Your Own Magic — Asymmetric Willow Frame Basket Workshop. There’s something deeply satisfying about weaving willow. The feel of it in your hands, the rhythm of the weave, watching a basket slowly take shape from a loose bundle of rods into something strong, beautiful, and completely unique.A full five-hour day of basket making in our off-grid space in Co. Roscommon, where you’ll learn how to weave your own asymmetric willow frame basket from start to finish. These baskets are one of our favourite things to teach because no two ever come out the same. They twist and curve with their own character — a little wild, a little wonky in all the right ways — and somehow end up feeling more personal because of it. You’re not aiming for factory-perfect here. You’re making something real. Throughout the day, we’ll guide you step by step through the entire process in a relaxed and welcoming setting. No experience is needed at all — just a willingness to slow down, have a go, and enjoy making something with your hands. All materials are provided. Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be flowing throughout the workshop. Settle in for a creative day in good company. Spaces are intentionally kept small so everyone gets plenty of guidance and conversation. If you’ve been craving a day away from screens, noise, and rushing about, this might be exactly the thing.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy A deposit of €20 is required to secure your place at the workshop. This deposit is treated as an advance payment towards the total workshop fee and is generally non‑refundable if you cancel or do not attend, to reflect our preparation costs and materials already committed for your session. Rescheduling More than 14 days before the workshop date: You may request to reschedule to another available date, subject to availability. If approved, your €20 deposit will be transferred to the new date. 14 days or fewer before the workshop date: If you request to reschedule, we may be unable to offer an alternative date. In this case, your €20 deposit may be retained to cover non‑refundable preparation costs. Cancellations More than 14 days before the workshop date: You may cancel your booking. In most cases, your €20 deposit can be transferred to a new date at our discretion, rather than being refunded. 14 days or fewer before the workshop date: If you cancel, we may be entitled to retain the €20 deposit to cover costs already incurred, including soaked and prepared willow and instructor time committed to your workshop. No‑shows If you do not attend your workshop and have not given prior notice, we may treat this as a late cancellation and retain the €20 deposit under the same conditions. Preparation costs Because willow preparation begins 7 days before each workshop, last‑minute cancellations or no‑shows may prevent us from recovering preparation costs. The €20 deposit helps to cover these reasonable, non‑refundable costs. Your rights Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under Irish or EU consumer‑protection law, including any right to cancel where such a right applies.
