Service Description

Weave Your Own Magic — Asymmetric Willow Frame Basket Workshop There's something deeply satisfying about working with your hands — and there's no better way to experience that than weaving your very own basket from natural willow. On July 18th, 2026, come and spend a grounded, creative day with us at Westcountry Willows, nestled in our off-grid workshop in the heart of Co. Roscommon. Surrounded by nature and good company, you'll learn the timeless craft of willow basket-making — with a twist. This workshop focuses on the beautiful, characterful asymmetric basket, a design that embraces organic shape and individuality. No two will ever look quite the same — just like the hands that made them. Over 5 unhurried hours, we'll walk you through everything you need to know. All materials are provided — just show up ready to get your hands busy. Date: July 18th, 2026 Duration: Approx 5 hours Location: Off-grid workshop, Co. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy A deposit of €20 is required to secure your place at the workshop. This deposit is treated as an advance payment towards the total workshop fee and is generally non‑refundable if you cancel or do not attend, to reflect our preparation costs and materials already committed for your session. Rescheduling More than 14 days before the workshop date: You may request to reschedule to another available date, subject to availability. If approved, your €20 deposit will be transferred to the new date. 14 days or fewer before the workshop date: If you request to reschedule, we may be unable to offer an alternative date. In this case, your €20 deposit may be retained to cover non‑refundable preparation costs. Cancellations More than 14 days before the workshop date: You may cancel your booking. In most cases, your €20 deposit can be transferred to a new date at our discretion, rather than being refunded. 14 days or fewer before the workshop date: If you cancel, we may be entitled to retain the €20 deposit to cover costs already incurred, including soaked and prepared willow and instructor time committed to your workshop. No‑shows If you do not attend your workshop and have not given prior notice, we may treat this as a late cancellation and retain the €20 deposit under the same conditions. Preparation costs Because willow preparation begins 7 days before each workshop, last‑minute cancellations or no‑shows may prevent us from recovering preparation costs. The €20 deposit helps to cover these reasonable, non‑refundable costs. Your rights Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under Irish or EU consumer‑protection law, including any right to cancel where such a right applies.
